THURSDAY 08-DEC-2011

Mostly clear skies (with a few high clouds overhead) through the work week. Cold temps continue late night and early morning into Friday, as a blocking ridge stays put off the coast. This ridge will also keep any major storms to our north. By the weekend, that ridge moves inland and this will drive temperatures back up to the normal range Saturday and Sunday. Later Sunday into Monday, a splitting system attempts to move through and bring a slight of showers to the Sierra. We will have to wait and see on this, so stay tuned for updates.
