After a period of very eventful weather, a strong ridge of high pressure (heat dome) parked over the Central US nudges closer, providing us with a dry and stable SW flow aloft. The only fly in the ointment is a West Coast trough providing some gusty winds in our area today. So if you like dry weather and gradually warming temperatures, you’re in luck. Expect steady warming to near August norms by the weekend into early next week. This Forecaster certainly won’t complain about that!..DMATT
