Dry weather this weekend as a shortwave ridge builds poleward into the Western US. Temperatures will gradually warm up thru Saturday. A slight dip in those temps on Sunday into Monday, as a dry front ripples across the region. Breezy in spots Sunday, 30 – 40 mph. After that high pressure again takes control Tuesday, kicking up those temperatures, with dry weather. Record highs again on Friday are possible. Not much to say about the weather after that, as it looks to stay dry into the second week of April…DMATT

DMATTs Weather Fact: Now that Mammoth has officially had their driest January – March on record, a few sites in the Bay Area also had their driest. One location grabbed my attention, San Jose right now sits less than 0.50 inches for the period, giving them their driest January – March as well. Our drought is definitely in full swing!
