SAT JUN 08 2013
HOT! Did I say hot? Possible record temps today (the warmest of this year) as strong high pressure moves overhead. Possible daytime highs today: Reno 97, Bishop 103, Alabama Hills 100, Lancaster 109, Ridgecrest 111, Lee Vining 88, Mammoth 87, and Death Valley 125. That ridge will be on the move towards the Desert SW tonight, followed by an elongated low now situated NE of Baja. So Sunday <should> be some 5 – 10 degrees cooler than today. Also, starting on Sunday through Tuesday, T-Storm development is possible over the Crest, with the dreaded high based, dry lightening a possibility.
