FRI MAY 12 2023 — WEEKEND

Today thru Saturday is shaping up to be really nice days, as strong high pressure amplifies into the PACNW and Western Canada. A cut off the low will get trapped underneath that ridge (forming a Rex Block) and moderate our temperatures somewhat. Additionally that low will create a chance of showers and T-storms this weekend in Mammoth. This pattern will draw moist air into our Forecast Area, bringing chances of additional showers and T-storms this upcoming week. Keep in mind areas most affected by those showers will be the upslope, higher elevations of the Sierra into Mono County…DMATT
