FRI MAR 24 2023 — DMATTs WEEKEND REPORT

Weak system in Mammoth on Saturday, with scattered snow showers mixed with mostly sunny skies. The Owens Valley looks dry thru the weekend. Both the Owens Valley and Mammoth Lakes will be some 15 – 20 degrees below average this weekend (December anyone?). By Sunday (here we go again) a vigorous upper low will drop from the PACNW towards NORCAL, approaching the coast then moving inland into our Area about Monday night into Wednesday. Expect snow heavy at times once again in the Sierra. This event is pretty far out, so stay to Monday’s forecast for details. For now enjoy the nice but cool weekend…DMATT
DMATTs Weather Fact: Epic year for Mammoth. The Summit is now reporting over 836 inches of snow and the Main Lodge 664!!!
