SIERRA FEB 17 2023 — DMATTs WEEKEND REPORT
The last effects of our early week storm will dwindle today, as that system continues to shift East. All in response to high pressure shifting inland off the coast. With that high, those temps start to recover today through the weekend. Addtiionally a cut off low, well off the coast brings cloudy skies to our Forecast Area today. The weekend into President’s Day looks warm and dry with temperatures running just about average for mid February. Now looking ahead to next week, NWP (Numerical Weather Prediction) increases, regarding a shift in this idyllic weather, possible next Tuesday, as a cold air mass brings windy, cold and showery weather to our Forecast Area. Updates on Monday…DMATT
