Our lingering low pressure will stay positioned just North of our forecast area thru today. We will have a few breezesys in favored locations. Thus those temperatures look to stay controlled, right at normal for May. Wednesday / Thursday though, a vertically stacked ridge will visit our area, pushing what’s left of that low pressure to the East. So a quick warm up with heights peaking Thursday at 588dm (just below the 90th percentile for climo in our area) and bringing us to 94° in The Owens Valley. A little cooling looks possible Friday and over the Memorial Day weekend, as yet another trough pushes through the PACNW…DMATT
