A Rex block sets up today, with low pressure over Baja under a ridge of high pressure to our North. This will provide increased moisture flow over the region and lead to shower & t-storm development each afternoon in Mammoth, along the Sierra Crest (Inyo & Mono County), Western Nevada and South of US-50. Main threats are strong outflow winds, brief heavy rainfall, and the possibly of some hail. Now it looks like a gradual drying trend should happen mid next week…DMATT
