A Rex block over the Desert SW, should bring chances of showers & thunderstorms to Bishop and Mammoth Friday and into the weekend. Other areas of activity should be the Sierra Crest, Western Nevada South of I-50 and the Oregon border. Next week the ridge will start to break down as a few troughs swing thru and with that precipitation chances should increase in Inyo & Mono County. A slight cooling trend is likely as well…DMATT
