Synopsis – MON MAY 25 2026 – MEMORIAL DAY

 

Warmer than average temps persist today on Memorial Day, with a slight change of T-storms. By Tuesday / Wednesday, gusty winds will signal the approach of an incoming cold core closed low, dropping colder Canadian air into our area. By Wednesday we will see below normal temps and chances of snow showers in Mammoth (snow levels down to ~8,500 feet) and rain showers in the Owens Valley. The Sierra Crest should see 2 – 6 inches of new snow. That cold air will hang around thru Friday…DMATT
