An area of high pressure will grow closer to Four Corners, while a closed low off the CENCA Coast moves inland today. With our area in between these two forces, we will see a Southerly flow with enhanced available moisture. So afternoon showers & t-storms will be possible, particularly over the Sierra and Mammoth through about Saturday. Bishop looks to have a chance today, as high pressure moves directly over Four Corners. Despite the increasing PWATs (0.5 – 0.8″), any storms may be a hybrid of wet and dry. Meanwhile, as that aforementioned ridge moves into Four Corners, warm temperatures are expected…DMATT
