A cut-off low off the CA Coast will advect a plume of moisture (with a Southerly flow) across Sierra today. A shallow ridge moving over the Four Corners Area Thursday will keep that flow going with continued scattered showers & t-storms pushing through our area through about Saturday (with the highest coverage over the higher elevations of Mammoth). Even a few snow showers will be possible atop Mammoth Mountain above 11k feet. Along with the moisture gradient, expect the possibility of dry microbursts in our area…DMATT
