Very comfortable temperatures this week, slightly below normal for late May. Along with this, those showers & thunderstorms continue along the Sierra Crest and Mammoth. Why? All due to a rotating counter-clockwise 500 mb cut-off low off the coast, beginning to hook inland. Warming begins by the weekend with heights aloft rising slightly above normal for early June, with lighter chances of t-storms, as a weak ridge hobbles into our area….DMATT
