MON MAY 29 2023 — MEMORIAL DAY FORECAST

Looking at today and the week ahead. A slow moving cut off low off the coast will drift inland and this will provide the forcing mechanism to fire off dailey chances of showers and thunderstorms. It looks like Mammoth and Mono County will be the main target. Thunderstorms should continue through the week, becoming more isolated Friday and Saturday. With all of this, temperatures look to run near normal for late May / early June. Even Death Valley will peak out at only about 103° this week. All-in-all not much in the way of impactful weather on the horizon. Sounds good to me…DMATT
