A Pacific ridge is parked just off the coast, allowing persistent troughing to set up over the region. With that, dailey chances of thunderstorms will continue in Mammoth and across the Sierra Crest thru at least Friday. Temperatures will be cooling back today and tomorrow, to a bit below normal. Even so, snow melt will continue to flood area waterways that will be running high, fast and cold. Be careful out there…DMATT
