This forecast is definitely sounding like a broken record. A cold system (in a seemingly endless stream of upper troughs) moves into the region today, slowly crossing our area thru Wednesday into Thursday AM. Strong winds and snow is likely in Mammoth into Thursday morning. Not much spill over in the Owens Valley will have rain / snow showers and light accumulations. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Mammoth thru Wednesday. Looks like 16 – 22″ for the Main Lodge and upwards of 30″ over the Summit. Then a break on Friday with mostly sunny skies!…DMATT

Isn’t main lodge nearing 700″? I think that would be a first, at least since 1970.
