High pressure will be in place thru Saturday. Only variables are a few weak systems riding over the top of the ridge, keeping our temperatures below seasonal norms for late January. By Sunday, our protective ridge looks to retreat a bit farther offshore and elongate up into the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). This will allow a cold system to move down the coast and into our Forecast area Sunday – Monday. We will have to see how all this pans out…DMATT
