Owens Valley / Mammoth Lakes / Mono County / Death Valley
Dennis Mattinson / Sierra Atmospheric Forecaster

Synopsis – WED NOV 12 2025

I still have confidence that a West Coast trough will move across our region Thursday and Friday, possibly into Saturday AM. Snow levels still look like ~8,000 feet on Thursday. By Friday (early Saturday) Mammoth Main should pick up about 9 – 14 inches, with the Summit at 20 inches. Gusty winds likely on Thursday, with Mammoth G 65 mph. Expect light rain in the Owens Valley, with gusty winds and the possibility of a thunderstorm here and there…DMATT
