Synopsis – FRI MAY 02 2025

Mild weather today, then a longwave trough will approach the Western US Friday. That trough will track inland Saturday / Sunday and bring on showery type precipitation, with T-storms (generally favoring higher terrain) possible through about Monday. Snow showers in Mammoth (with several inches possible at the Main Lodge) looking likey thru Tuesday. Overall then cooler temps will prevail thru the period, with temps Monday in Bishop some 20° below seasonal norms for early May…DMATT
