Long standing heat records will be broken across much to the Western US this week. So by early this week, an historically strong ridge of high pressure (596 dm) will build into the West. This will yield temps some 25° – 30° above normal for mid March. This will bring on an Extreme Heat Watch. Your temps will begin to move upscale today, building to an impressive 90° in Bishop by Friday. That is 25° above average for mid March!…DMATT
