Dave Stamey

Multi award winning performer and songwriter Dave Stamey will kickoff the 2022 “Good Ole’ Days” celebration with a dinner/concert on the outdoor patio at Whiskey Creek in Bishop at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 9. Enjoy a delicious
dinner of Santa Maria Tri-tip, Rosemary Chicken, served with fresh vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, and all the fixin’s. Vegetarian/Vegan option available, just include a note when purchasing tickets.

After a great dinner Dave will take the stage. Cowboys and Indians Magazine has called Dave Stamey, “the Charlie Russell of Western Music.” Western Horseman Magazine has declared his
“Vaquero Song” to be one of the greatest Western songs of all time.   True West Magazine named him Best Living Western Solo Musician four years in a row.

Tickets are limited to 100 guests, and we are at more than half sold out, with a
majority of ticket purchases from out of the area. This will sell out, do not dally,
you do not want to miss this memorable evening with Dave! Get your tickets at
lawsmuseum.org! Dave Stamey’s performance is generously sponsored by Sarah Sheehan.

On Saturday, September 10, the “Good Ole’ Days” activities will be centered at
Laws Railroad Museum and Historical Site where we will celebrate the pioneer
history that built the home and lifestyle we have inherited, and also the literary
heritage of the Owens Valley!

Good Ole Days performers will Bishop Community Band, Sage Romero and the Aka Mya Dance Group, Coale Johnson, Giacomo Trembello, and Fiddlin’ Pete Watercott. Sandy & The High Country will bring the day to a close with a Good Ole Days dance on the depot dock.

More details on Good Ole Days activities can be found at lawsgoodoledays.org.

This event is made possible with support from the County of Inyo.
