BISHOP, CA — The Bishop Mule Days Celebration proudly returns May 19–24, 2026, bringing
“The Greatest Mule Show on Earth” back to the Eastern Sierra for another unforgettable week
of western tradition, family fun, and world-class mule competition.
New this year, tickets and RV spaces will go on sale beginning November 15, 2025, giving fans
the chance to secure their seats and rigs early. Tickets and RV reservations can be purchased

2026 Headliner Concert: Jarrod Niemann
Mule Days is thrilled to announce country music star Jarrod Niemann as the 2026 Thursday
night headliner. Known for chart-topping hits such as “Drink to That All Night” and “Lover,
Lover,” Niemann brings his signature energy and heartfelt storytelling to the Bishop Fairgrounds
for one night only. Fans can expect a high-energy show filled with country hits, moments of
reflection, and a lively connection with the crowd under the Sierra stars.
Specialty Acts
Adding to the excitement, Mule Days is proud to welcome Matt Tarr — Professional Rodeo
Clown and Entertainer. Tarr has performed across the country with his quick wit, fearless barrel
antics, and laugh-out-loud crowd interaction. His unique blend of comedy and rodeo skill keeps
audiences of all ages entertained from start to finish.
Tarr joins a growing lineup of specialty acts and arena entertainment that will be announced in
the coming months, promising more thrills and laughs for the whole family.
The Tradition Continues
Since its founding in 1970, Bishop Mule Days has celebrated the hardworking spirit of the
American mule with six days of competition, concerts, parades, and family fun. From pack
scrambles and events to vendor fairs and live music, Mule Days continues to honor heritage and
hospitality in one of California’s most scenic small towns.

Founded in 1970, the Bishop Mule Days Celebration is an annual Memorial Day tradition in
Bishop, California, honoring the heritage of the American mule and the spirit of the Eastern
Sierra. What began as a local gathering of packers and outfitters has grown into a six-day event
featuring more than 700 mules, 14 competitive shows, concerts, and the longest-running non
