The Mono County Sheriff/ Coroner’s office has determined the cause of death of a Mammoth Lakes woman.

According to Chief Deputy Coroner Lt. Robert Weber, an autopsy was performed July 10th on Mrs. Kelly Susan Money who was found deceased at her home in Mammoth Lakes on July 8th.

Lt. Weber said that autopsy results determined that the cause of death was due to massive traumatic injuries sustained by a self-inflicted gun shot wound. Toxicology results are still pending.

Mrs. Money, a Mammoth resident, reportedly owned and operated a communications company.

Private services were held.
