Community Debrief Session on Willow Fire Inyo County invites residents to a community debrief session to discuss the Willow Fire on Thursday, August 15, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Bishop Senior Center, 682 Spruce St., Bishop.
This session provides an opportunity for community members to offer feedback, share their experiences, and address any concerns regarding the emergency response and evacuation efforts related to the Willow Fire. Public input is valuable as agencies work to improve their response and preparedness.
The Willow Fire consumed five structures on the evening of August 11 in the 200 block of Willow Street in the City of Bishop and resulted in evacuation of nearby residences. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, but there is no suspicion of foul play, according to the City of Bishop.
