The Cerro Coso College Choir will present a Coffee House Concert at 7 p.m. on
Friday, May 9 in Bishop and at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 10 in Mammoth Lakes. Both
free concerts will be performed in the lobby of the Cerro Coso College Campus in
each community.
The concert theme is based on coffee and tea songs in a variety of styles from J. S.
Bachs Coffee Cantata to the popular jazz selection "Java Jive." The choir members
live and work in the Eastern Sierra from June Lake to Lone Pine. The chorale is
directed by Stephanie Everson.
A "coffee tasting" event will be held during the concert. The audience is encouraged
to tast-test donated coffees from Starbuck's, Looney Bean, Black Sheep, Java Joint,
Stellar Brew and Cuppy's.
Call Stephanie Everson at (760) 934-2492 for more information.
