Christiana decided to reject legal help and represent himself. He had done the same thing in Mono County where he was convicted of vandalism charges. With time already served in Mono, Christiana has moved on to face charges in Inyo.

Tomorrow, Christiana planned to argue motions before the court, including suppression of evidence. A preliminary hearing is set for the arson charge on Thursday.

Schulman Grove Visitors Center had played host to thousands from around the world, eager to explore the ancient Bristlecone Forest.
