I can’t see the logic in this scenario . Unless that truck was sitting still , how does a rear end collision cause 2 fatalities ? Even if the Freightliner was going slowly , 35 mph ??? , that’s only a 30 mph collision and even if the victims weren’t… Read more »

I’m guessing the Hyundai’s hood when under the trailer, hence the trailer ended up at windshield level. Sad for sure

Possibly the height of semi rear bumper, quite possible the first thing impacted was the windshield of the car.

So sad to see two young people die,but,IMO,it’s a wonder this type of thing doesn’t happen everyday,or at least every week-end,the way so many visitors drive and travel HWY 395…both on the highway and thru the main streets our small towns..
