On 08/22/2024, at approximately 0950 hours a 54 year old male driver was driving northbound on Sunland Road south of Warm Springs Road, at an unknown speed. As the driver traveled northbound on Sunland Road, he failed to maintain control of the vehicle. After the driver lost control of the vehicle, it hit a power pole and went off the road into a dirt mound. The driver was transported to Northern Inyo Hospital with minor injuries. Alcohol is presumed to be a factor in this collision. Bishop CHP is currently investigating this collision
