As if Methamphetamine weren’t evil enough in its addictive destruction, someone has now mixed Meth in with what looks like candy. Local law enforcement confirmed national reports that crystal Meth has been cooked into what looks like strawberry pop rocks candy.

Locally Inyo Sheriff’s Sergeant Jeff Hollowell confirmed that he has heard that the drug candy has been widely detected in the Fresno area. He said the drug looks like candy and is designed to target the young crowd.

Hollowell said it is crystal Meth baked into a candy-like form with food coloring and flavoring.

Other sources indicated that the candy Meth also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange.

Another reason to resurrect the adage of not taking candy from strangers or maybe even from friends.
