BISHOP – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 9 has created a new video that explains one of the most common signs on the California State Highway System. Postmile markers can be found on every highway and state route in California, and if you know how to use them, they can be a vital tool in assisting travelers in an emergency when there is an issue on the road.
In this Caltrans News Dash, Public Information Officer Chris Andriessen describes where to find postmile markers and how to read them. The video can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/POZ98VtI9PU
