The Bishop JV Broncos traveled to Mammoth on Friday to take on the Huskies and came out on top 54-27. Fighting the loud crowd in Mammoth, Bishop stayed calm leading the first half with a score of 34-10. Will Kemp led the way scoring with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assist, and 1 steal. Dom Dondero followed with 9 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and Devaun Mitchell had 8 points, and 4 rebounds. Small but mighty, Thomas Jackson, had 5 points including one three-pointer. Darrick Cortez, Heath Fuller, Nolan Dowers, Michael Spratt, Trae Safarick, Jekoby Dondero and Charlie Lewis all contributed with 2 points. Next Tuesday, Jan 30, the Broncos travel to Rosamond to try avenge their one loss and take down undefeated Roadrunners.
