Bishop Boys Varsity Basketball were at home Friday night against the Kern Valley Broncs. The Boys lost to KV in the second game of the season and were looking to split the season. And that’s exactly what the Broncos did. They came out fast and never lost the lead taking a 38-17 lead into halftime. Final score was 60-44.
Leading the way in scoring was Carlos Sualez with 14 points, Will Kemp had 12, Devaun Mitchell had 8, Jakobe Dondero and Emory Dondero both had 6, Dom Dondero had 5 points, Travis Hernandez added 3 and both Wanbli in the Woods and Richie Talavera had 2.
Everyone got some minutes and got a chance to work on their game. We’re gonna need that down the road come playoff time you never know what can happen, so it’s nice to get some of the guys off the bench to give us some minutes and points.
Broncos are on the road this week to Frazier Mountain on Tuesday and at Mammoth on Friday.
