Big Pine American Legion Auxiliary Unit #457 will be hosting an official visit from District #27 President Vicky Goodchild.

In her honor a dinner will be served at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the Big Pine Town Hall, regular business meeting will follow at 7 p.m. All American Legion and Auxiliary members are encouraged to attend.

This will be the first official meeting of the 2016-2017 year for the American Legion Post and Auxiliary. On the agenda for discussion will be: Veteran’s activities, Girl State Program, Poppy Program, Girl Scouts, department obligations, and supporting Big Pine School events.

The American Legion Auxiliary is now accepting new members. Any wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and descendants of veterans who have served our great country during times of war may become a member.
