The 30-year-old Summerland, CA man who died in a truck accident in Mammoth Lakes lost his life due to major head injuries mono_county_soaccording to the Mono County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office.

Mammoth Police continue to investigate the accident which was discovered November 23rd. Police and paramedics found the body of Kevin Scott Green, 30, in truck wreckage down an embankment in the area of Le Verne and Fir Streets in the Bluffs area of Mammoth Lakes. Police said the truck had fallen about 100 feet. Deep snow filled the accident scene in steep terrain and whiteout conditions.

The Mono Sheriff’s Office reports that autopsy results indicate that Mr. Green’s death was due to major head injury sustained at the time of the accident.

Mammoth Police had reported that Green was last seen alive late Saturday evening, November 20th. Officers said that Green may have missed the 90 degree turn in the area and went off the roadway.
