Since when arent you allowed to fish it…news to me.
JigsOnly…..Diaz Lake is open year round….
How was there a fish pulled out of Diaz? You aren’t allowed to fish it.
I prefer dynamite out of season.
i saw on google news that a 4.5 pound 18 inch gold fish was caught in lake tahoe. seems tahoe has a breeding population of goldfish. it was caught by researchers using electrical wires hanging below their boat and when a fish goes near it stuns them and they float up,then the researchers sort thru them and throw the native fish back and keep non native to estimate populations. the picture looked just like the little ones you buy for fish tanks at home, bright orange and kind of fat.
…A few weeks ago,there was a 27 inch,7 or 8 pound trout pulled out of the lake….
Please leave my fish alone !
Diaz Lake should be heavily stocked…..rumor has it very few trout going into the creeks due to the low water levels.
