Angelina Irene Vassar passed away quietly on December 19, 2022 at Renown Hospital in Reno
Nevada after suffering a stroke. She was 82 years old. Angelina was born, Angelina Irene
Cordero in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico on June 28, 1940.

Angelina’s first marriage was to Jack Richardson and they lived in Southern California where they raised Jacks two daughters.  Angelina and Jack eventually relocated to Benton, California where they lived for over twenty years until Jack’s passing. Angelina loved her step-daughters, Debbie and Loretta and all her grandchildren.

She loved serving and fellowshipping in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In 2011 she married Mitch Vassar and they lived happily in Benton until her passing. Angie is survived by husband, Mitch, step-daughters Debbie and Loretta, sisters in Mexicali and numerous grandchildren. Angie was a loving, caring person and she will be missed by all.

Services for Angelina will be held January 14 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, 725 Keogh St. After a luncheon, burial will be at the Benton cemetery in Old Benton.
