Fire Chief Russell just called me, Jason Brown, and shared that they had a great response to this fire. Bishop Fire Department Engine 2, Ladder 3 and Engine 1 were all on scene. Big Pine Fire responded to the fire as well as Chalfant Fire. Sierra Life Flight was on scene ready. Upon arrival 3 structures were fully engulfed. 2 other structures were lost in the battle. At the time of our conversation, there are no injuries to report as of 10:26PM Mandatory Evacuation Orders are still in place.
