Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce
Staff Changes

The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce several dynamic staff changes. As of June 1, 2024, Brianna Goico has stepped into the role of President & CEO and Marcy Castro has taken on the position of Membership Manager. Gina van Hest joins as the new Communications Manager. This invigorated team is driven to help grow local businesses and build community ties.

Brianna Goico, President & CEO

Brianna Goico, a resident of Mammoth Lakes since 2017, is now the President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce. With a robust background in event management, Brianna has been a key part of the Chamber since 2020, previously serving as Membership & Marketing Manager and Assistant Director. Her leadership and vision are set to drive the Chamber towards new heights.
“I am truly honored to lead our Chamber and collaborate with our members to build a prosperous Mammoth Lakes,” Goico shared. “Our community thrives when our businesses succeed, and I am dedicated to fostering this growth and connection.”

Marcy Castro, Membership Manager

Marcy Castro, a committed community member since 2016, brings extensive experience from her career in the LAUSD & MUSD school systems to her role as Membership Manager. Known for her effective communication and friendly demeanor, Marcy has quickly become a valuable asset to the Chamber. Her mission focuses on maximizing the benefits for local businesses and fostering career opportunities for students.
“I am eager to enhance the value of Chamber membership for our local businesses,” Castro said. “Additionally, I am passionate about connecting our youth with local job opportunities, helping them envision and achieve successful careers right here in Mammoth Lakes.”

Gina van Hest, Communications Manager

Gina van Hest brings a wealth of experience in graphic design, marketing, and business development to the Chamber. Since relocating to Mammoth Lakes two years ago, Gina has been actively involved in the community, gaining a deep appreciation for its unique character and needs.

“I am thrilled to contribute to the Chamber’s mission by enhancing our communication efforts,” van Hest stated. “Having lived on three different continents and experienced many diverse cultures, I understand the value of effective communication in fostering strong relationships and driving positive change. I am so happy to call Mammoth Lakes my home and look forward to leveraging my skills to support and promote our local businesses and community initiatives.”

The Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce is confident that these new appointments will bring fresh perspectives and energy to their ongoing efforts. By bringing together business, nonprofit, community, and academic partners throughout Mammoth Lakes, the Chamber aims to achieve the common goal of supporting and enhancing our incredible community.
