Sonora Pass Reopens from Storm Closure

MONO COUNTY – Caltrans reopened State Route 108 (Sonora Pass) from a storm closure at noon today. The road initially closed on November 15 due to an incoming snowstorm. State Route 89 (Monitor Pass), which also closed on November 15 ahead of the storm, has since reopened. The following state highways in District 9 remain open:

·      State Route 158 N (North June Lake Loop)

·      State Route 120 E (Mono Mills Road)

·      State Route 270 (Bodie Road)

The following highways in District 9 have closed for the winter:

·      State Route 120 W (Tioga Pass)

·      State Route 203 at Mammoth Mountain

·      State Route 168 W at Aspendell
