An area of low pressure along the Oregon / NORCAL coast and high pressure over the Intermountain region, continues to advect deep moisture into our Forecast Area. So PWATs of an inch or greater will be in place today. Heavy rain and flash flooding is possible. Meanwhile, as the week progresses, that area of low pressure moves like molasses up the coast, eventually joining the Westerly flow up in Canada. As it does, the Intermountain ridge will gravitate westward and slowly push inland and this should bring on drier conditions to our area Wednesday into Friday…DMATT
