SUPPORT OUR LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS!

July 21, 2020 – For 65 years the Big Pine Volunteer Fire Department has walked door-to-door to sell their annual Community Calendar.  This long-standing fundraiser is supported each year by hundreds of residents with the proceeds helping to support the work of the Big Pine Fireman’s Association (BPFA), the non-profit arm of the Department.

BPFA raises funds to support community efforts such as supporting scholarships for students entering the medical or fire fields and more recently the Bishop Fireworks, as well as funding the annual Big Pine Volunteer Recognition and Awards Dinner.

The Department is modifying the sales process this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  In order to ensure the safety of its volunteers and community, past customers will be contacted by telephone for their re-order information or their re-order form will be dropped off at their front door.

The order forms will also be available on the Department’s website at www.bigpinefire.specialdistrict.org under the Services Tab.

Residents can either mail their calendar order and check to the Department at P.O. Box 382, Big Pine, California 93513 or a drop box will be available on Wednesday nights at the Fire Department between 7 pm and 830 pm.
