Norm took this solo camping trip yearly for all the years I’ve known him (24). He was an experienced camper who liked a solitary camping experience away from people. It’s not surprising he was hard to find. He didn’t like to camp in overly populated camping areas near roads. His camping rig was set up to travel off road so it’s not surprising it took some time to find him. He was a good man who passed doing something he loved. My heart goes out to his family.
OLD YELLER…..What do you know that you can make such a statement ?…maybe near a popular hiking area, but it doesn’t say he passed away on the trail…or in a campground….there are numerous dirt roads in the area, some situated leading to easily out of view spots he could’ve parked and camped…not the time to try speculate and to insult Law Enforcement or others for not finding him sooner than they did.
hey, old yellow, it’s clear you think you’re smarter than the average bear: you always know better how to do just about everything. Given these skills, you should clearly run for office: how many of your neighbors, and those who know you best (like your family) would be willing to vote for you?
Well, two days of searching & he is located at a popular hiking location. how many local law enforcement officials in every badge carrying capacity involved in this, miss him.
