MONET Search Warrant leads to Mammoth arrest (Press Release)
On Thursday, September 6th, 2012 the Mono County Narcotics Task Force (MONET), along with assistance from the Mono County Sheriff’s
Jack Jerry Colby, 70, of Mammoth Lakes.
Department and Mammoth Lakes Police Department, concluded an extensive investigation for the sales of cocaine in the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
On the morning of Thursday, September 6th, MONET agents served a search warrant in the Town of Mammoth Lakes resulting in the arrest of Jack Jerry Colby, age 70, of Mammoth 
Lakes for suspicion of sales of cocaine.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of over $19,000 US currency which was proceeds from the sales of narcotics. Agents recovered scales, packaging materials, over one (1) and a half pounds of cocaine, one (1) gram of methamphetamine and a small amount of marijuana. Mr. Colby was taken into custody at the Mono County Jail in Bridgeport and charges are pending with the Mono County District Attorney’s Office.

OK so I feel success is what a lot of us working class strive for. But when we have a current system that props up the legal corruption and those at certain levels don’t play by the same rules. It just isn’t fair to the ones that where born in bad circumstance and have the house bet against them. what happen to fair and equal chance. It’s almost like you have to be rich to become rich.

Dems aren’t the ones trying to sell us if you tax the rich less it will help the economy grow, Which is something I hope nobody buys into because our economy grows through consumer demand (the middle class). If you look at the tax rates in relation to the GDP growth you will see the truth about taxing the rich and how it effects the economy growth. How hard is that that to Google?
I understand the democrats are in the same boat when it comes to getting campaign donations and selling out to the big donors best interest but they aren’t trying to makes us believe we need to tax the rich less. Also the Dems aren’t telling us if we cut defense it will cripple our military. We spending as much now then we did in the middle of the Iraq war!
And quite frankly the Republican platform has lost there mind! Also it makes me mad that they would stop any kind of progress so it would make the president look bad so they can get their own in office. (they have admitted to that).
And the conservative voting all because you and your family are OK who cares about anyone else right? I guess if I felt I was OK with everything in my world I would fear change as well!

It is good to see the Cops getting the real nasty stuff off our local streets. The war on drugs really has been a utter failure! This doesn’t mean I agree with legalizing the real nasty stuff but to rethink how we throw justice at the average drug user.
Oregon, Washington, and Colorado all have the legalize marijuana on the ballot this November. We all know criminalizing Marijuana depletes the state budget. Colorado currently has a lead in the polls 47 to 38!
Why is it as a nation we spend more money on prisons and jail’s then we do on education? I don’t know about you but that doesn’t seem to promising to the future. All of your that are voting for the republicans this year you can say goodbye to the Child tax credit and home mortgage deduction so the rich can pay for there tax break.
In a our current system the mega corporations pay more to lobbyists then they do on taxes!

Its the policy that makes the difference. You look at the republican policy and ask yourself, Hmm do they represent me or themselves? Then look at the diversity of who the Dems represent and the policy that effects more in a better way rather then a bad way.
Honestly I can’t see how Mr. Mitt Romney and his followers think he is gonna win, for instance he has not the black vote, he has not the a majority of the Hispanic vote, he has not the single mom and woman vote who feel they know whats best for themselves, He has not the young progressive vote which is the rising star of voters. I really don’t understand how he has any vote’s when you read and understand his policy’s, of course besides the the ones like Sheldon Adelson who donated about 100 million dollars to republican campaigns. You wanna know how much he will get a return on his investment if the Romney Ryan plan goes into effect LIKE ABOUT 2.3 BILLION DOLLARS IN TAX BREAKS.
