May is Wildfire Resilience Month, and we are kicking things off with a bang! Join us for Sierra Spark, the region’s first Wildfire Ready Festival, designed to help our community ignite connections and take action.

Whether you’re looking for expert advice on home protection or just a fun day out with the family, there is something for everyone.

• Where: Bishop City Park, Bishop

🎸 Festival Highlights

• Live Music: The Felt Cutouts (10:30 AM – 1:30 PM)

• Family Fun: Photos with fire mascots, meet the firetrucks, and an interactive kid’s zone.

• Live Demo: Don’t miss the Bishop Fire Protection District Wildland Firefighting Demonstration at 1:15 PM.

• Proactive Action: Free green waste disposal available onsite! Bring your yard debris and help reduce local fire risk.

🛠️ Workshops (at the Gazebo)

• 11:00 AM: Evacuation Workshop – Learn how to be ready when every second counts.

• 12:15 PM: Ember-Resistant Vent Retrofit Demo – Practical tips for hardening your home.
