The Inyo County Probation Department, in partnership with the Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council (JJCC), has officially released a Request for Proposals (RFP) to fund community-based services for at-promise youth for Fiscal Years 2026–2027.
The initiative aims to reduce juvenile crime and truancy by investing in prevention-focused, evidence-informed programming.
Funding Breakdown
The JJCC has allocated a total of $150,000 to support up to seven community providers through two grant types:

Two multi-year grants: $25,000 per year for two years (totaling $50,000 each).

Five one-year grants: $10,000 each.
Eligibility and Focus Areas
Eligible organizations include nonprofit organizations, for-profit entities, and government agencies. All funded programs must align with the JJCC’s specific prevention focus areas:

Preparing youth for the future.

Fostering positive relationships and connections.

Strengthening coping skills and responsible decision-making.
