FRI SEP 01 2023 – WEEKEND REPORT

Today low pressure will make landfall on the PACNW coast and begin tracking South down into NORCAL. This low will bring a significant cool down to our area thru the weekend, dropping some 10° below average. It will also bring with it increasing winds (G 35 – 45) and a chance of showers and t’storms to Mono County and Mammoth over the weekend. Watch out for a snowflake or two (above 10K feet) atop Mammoth Mountain on Sunday. That low moves East late Sunday, with Labor Day right now looking dry, with temps returning to near average…DMATT
