100 Women Who Care – Eastern Sierra Donates $7,000 to Inyo County Search and Rescue
Bishop, CA — 100 Women Who Care – Eastern Sierra (100 WWCES) was honored to tour Inyo County Search and Rescue (SAR) and see firsthand the lifesaving impact of our recent $7,000 donation. ICSAR’s dedicated volunteers provide critical search and rescue services across Inyo County, assisting those in distress in some of the most remote and rugged areas.
As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, SAR partners with the Inyo County Sheriff’s Office to respond to emergencies and even lends support to search and rescue teams in other counties when needed. Their work is vital to the safety of residents and visitors exploring the Eastern Sierra.
“We are thrilled to support SAR and the volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise to saving lives,” said Darlene Schuetz, Chairperson at 100 WWCES. “Their commitment to our community is extraordinary, and we are grateful for their service.”
100 WWCES is a local giving circle that brings together women committed to making an immediate, direct impact through collective giving. To learn more about 100WWCES or how to support their efforts, visit https://www.100wwces.org/
