This is a two day training that focuses on hands-on scenarios in CPR, trauma, wounds, medical conditions such as heart attacks, diabetes, and strokes, and environmental issues and influences. Each individual who completes this training earns an OSHA approved CPR card and a 16-hour wilderness first aid card. Attendees will earn stipends for S100/day who fully complete the course.

The Bishop Paiute Tribe is collaborating with Sierra Institute and Whitebark Institute to develop a Native American workforce crew which will consist of a 5-15 member crew to perform restoration work in our homelands. If interested, then you must attend this training and will be required to participate in other trainings such as a S-212 Wildfire
