This is a two day training that focuses on hands-on scenarios in CPR, trauma, wounds, medical conditions such as heart attacks, diabetes, and strokes, and environmental issues and influences. Each individual who completes this training earns an OSHA­ approved CPR card and a 16-hour wilderness first aid card. Attendees will earn stipends for S100/day who fully complete the course.

The Bishop Paiute Tribe is collaborating with Sierra Institute and Whitebark Institute to develop a Native American workforce crew which will consist of a 5-15 member crew to perform restoration work in our homelands. If interested, then you must attend this training and will be required to participate in other trainings such as a S-212 Wildfire
