Area Forecast Discussion – Tue Jun 11 2024

Temperatures expected to rise today thru Thursday, as high pressure to our East transitions back into our Forecast area. Those temps won’t be of headline criteria (like last week), but still expect upper 90s to 100° most of this week in Bishop. Also expect isolated t-storms over Mammoth today. By Friday into the weekend, a PACNW trough will push the ridge off to the East, and bring a very slight cool down, particularly to the Owens Valley. Don’t expect much, maybe 2 – 3 degress, but will take what we can get…DMATT
